Everyone helps each other at BIRN Germany
Matthias Brehler started his career at BIRN Germany in 2016, when he was 20 years old and had just finished high school. He started as a trainee in sales, but during his trainee period at the company he worked in several different departments of BIRN Germany.
- My time as a trainee was very interesting, and I really got to see a lot of different parts of the company and the way of working. This has given me a solid knowledge of how the company works, and this is very helpful in my current position, explains Matthias Brehler.
Today, he works in the sales department where he primarily handles offers and projects for customers and helps find the right prices and suppliers for them.
- We always aim to find the best possible solution for our customers. Sometimes they need custom parts, or they need urgent delivery. In those cases, we review the project drawings to identify the right components or locate a supplier who can meet the required timeframe, says Matthias Brehler.
The way of working at BIRN Germany suits Matthias Brehler very well, and he enjoys working with his colleagues.
- We’re a small team, so it feels very homely. Everyone helps each other, and we work as a team with the customer as the focus for our work. We help them find solutions to their problems, and if we don’t have the answers ourselves, we always talk to each other to support the customer in the best way possible, he says, and continues:
